This may be a strange, TMI-type of post, but I need to scream this from the rooftops:
Chemopause is over!!
Oh, thank goodness. I’m tired, cranky, emotional, and I want Drumsticks in an ice-cream form.
I’ve been worried, being that it’s been over a year, that my period was never going to start again and my ovaries retired. Not the case!
And I feel pretty good about it. The mood swings have been difficult to deal with, and I’ve had to sleep for the past 24 hours, but I’m bleeding again. It only took 14 months, but better late than never, right?
In spirit of this momentous occasion, I’m going to make a list of 10 songs about about the words red, read and read. Enjoy!
