**Under Construction**

When I started this blog after diagnosis, I didn’t know where it would take me. In fact, I lost my way a few times and the proof of that is in my posting history! There was a time where I didn’t want to be me because breast cancer made me feel “othered” from my peers in a world where #squadgoals are everything.

Since attending the Young Survival Coalition’s yearly summit in Orlando this February, a change has sparked in me: I finally began to feel alive again. I started putting myself first: getting my weekly routines in order, going to necessary appointments, and focusing on my own mental health. The biggest thing I’ve done for myself this year is that I have given myself permission to tell my story to the world, in the form of a podcast. Yes, I have a podcast now! Check it out by clicking on the picture:

The podcast is also available on iTunes and Google Play
My next project on the list is to revamp this blog, and keeping you all up-to-date on all things breast cancer. Today, I will be posting Episode 004 with Stori Nagel of Haus of Volta, which is a nonprofit organization that empowers men and women through pin-up. Stay tuned!
I also made the front page of the local news! Special thanks to Tony Geftos for featuring me and allowing me to raise awareness. This is all proof that life can take you in a direction you never thought possible. This year, I am looking forward to being more involved and living up to my mission of being powerful and impactful through exposure.
Thank you all for your support, and for those who have been with me throughout this crazy ride. Looking forward to bringing my fly girls and guys great content moving forward!
Xoxo,
Kels
